The Washington Talking Book & Braille Library is answering that question with a new exhibition of tactile art. The exhibition, “An Expression of Touch,” will allow individuals to view the art either with their hands or their eyes. The show features art created by patrons of the library.
An opening reception will be held on Friday, October 16th, from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m.
The art will be on view from October 19 – 23 from 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. The Washington Talking Book & Braille Library is located at 2021 9th Avenue in Seattle.
The Washington Talking Book & Braille Library is a great public resource that serves residents of Washington unable to read standard print material due to blindness, visual impairment, physical disability, or learning disability. Materials and services are all provided free of charge.
